At WNY PET/CT we perform PET/CT Imaging (Positron Emission Tomography) along with diagnostic CT exams.

  • Oncology
  • Diagnostic CT
  • Brain

Other exams include:
CT Angiography is used to examine blood vessels in key areas of the body including the brain, kidneys, legs, lungs, heart and neck. Other types of CT scans including the chest, head, spine, extremities and sinuses. Some of these exams require x-ray contrast.

An Ultrasound exam can help to diagnose a variety of conditions and involves scanning areas of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce images of organs and vessels inside the body.

Nuclear Medicine uses very small amounts of a radiopharmaceutical to diagnosis and check organ function. The radiopharmaceuticals go directly to the organ to be examined and are detected by special types of cameras that work to produce computerized images. Nuclear Medicine imaging is painless and has no adverse side effects.

We have the latest digital x-ray equipment which quickly takes your x-rays with the use of computers and digital technology eliminating the "wait" for the x-rays to be developed. Fluoroscopy is a type of continuous x-ray that captures the flow of motion.
